I was talking to Beverly Carter from our hometown of Hall Summit, La, yesterday (April 12,2005). Beverly was relating lots of good memories and info & I was thrilled to hear of Jerry Wiggins participation in the quartet & the appearance scheduled for the Hall Summit Festival in June. Surely would like to make it home for that. I live in Augusta, Ga & just returned from a month's visit to La. I am currently making plans to visit my Daughter Kimberly who is stationed in Bahrain. We are all doing ok here is San Antonio,But my heart still breaks every time I think of you and Jericho Road I know God has a plan and will set it in motion when he is ready but it is hard to wait sometimes, Huh? We are having a lot of hot weather and when I get out side as sweet as I am I almost melt Ha Ha. We will keep you in our prayers always.And will pray that God will put a song back in your heart very soon be his will.Just know Ed and I Love you so very much and look forward to the day we see you singing with a group again. Please be with Jerry in a VERY SPECIAL way! I have never really been in his position and, gone through what he's going through but, he's going through something TERRIBLE. Please help him with his doubts and trust problem. Please in some way, show him why this is happening and show him what you have planned for his life through all of this. Lord, please be especially close to Jerry and Lorna right now and let them know, in a special way, that You are there and love them VERY MUCH! Lord, I love them SO MUCH TOO! First of all, I want to thank you for what has taken place in Jerry's life recently! Thank you for bringing back the song to his heart! Thank you that he had a good weekend with The Crusaders!
But Lord, Jerry is still struggling with some things, trust (or, lack thereof) of people for one thing. Please continue to work with him on this so that he'll feel more comfortable around people. Please be with him in the lawsuit situation and, work that out the best You know how. Be with Lorna too and, let both of them know that You are still there with them always. Lord, Jerry and Lorna have both been hurt VERY DEEPLY and, I ask You to take care of that hurt and, make things good again! And Lord, please be with those who have hurt Jerry and Lorna and, please take charge of their lives and change them. Be with everybody involved.

Hi Jerry,
Mom was telling me that she had spoken to Johnny and he told her that you would no longer be with Jericho Road. Jerry it will not be the same. You and my sister were the ones that changed my life. I now serve the Lord. It all happened the night in Little River when I was setting on the second row with my sister that I was about to lose. I have never cried so much than that night. You don't even know how much you inspired me. I will always be grateful to have been given the opportunity to go that night.

Dianna always would talk about you. And she called me that morning and said will you please go with me. And I did. I was able to put a lot of things behind me ever since that night mostly the bad things that had happened in my life a lot due to walking down the path of distruction. I was almost where my sister was in her life at her time of death. But I decided after I got in trouble due to liquor. I was arrested and put in jail. I dropped to my knees in the cell and ask the Lord to please help me. AND HE DID. I have not turned back and I am happy to say that I have not drank in almost 3 years.

I play your CD everyday. My favorite song is Living Water. All of your songs are great. I will come in and play the Song I CAN'T EVEN WALK WITHOUT YOU HOLDING MY HAND.

Mr. Jerry Wiggins & Jericho Road,

Thank you for all the many things that you have done and continue to do for me. I greatly appreciate all the prayers that you have prayed for me, and the love and encouragement that has come from you. You all are an amazing influence in my life, and the lives of many other people. Thank you for always welcoming and encouraging me. I remember the first time we met, you had never seen me or heard me play piano before… yet you were still nice and encouraging. That meant a lot then, and it still means a lot. I can’t begin to explain the feeling I get when I am surrounded by you… Men that love the Lord, and aren’t afraid to sing about His holy name. I am very thankful that God placed you in my life. I wish everyone could have such an amazing influence in their lives like you have been in mine. J As far as college goes, I have been accepted to Dallas Baptist University to study Church Music. However, I have not been accepted to the college of music yet because the audition date was much later than when I submitted my main application. I am waiting to hear from the Dean of the music department on the status of my application and scholarships to the school of music. I know that everything is in God’s divine control, and that if it is His will, it will happen. He has blessed me with a wonderful gift of music, and I will never stop praising His holy name with it. I know He has a plan for my life… now it is time for me to hold on while He molds me into the young adult that He wants me to be! Again, thank you all for being such incredible musicians, teachers, examples, and friends! I am thankful for you!
